The Setia Tropika township is situated next to the North-South Highway, which has a projected traffic flow of 6,000 cars every hour. Setia Tropika has built the Exit 255B for its residents so that they can travel to and from the CBD faster and easier. The construction of the new EDL (Eastern Dispersal Link) is currently in progress and is estimated to complete by 2011. The EDL connects the North-South Highway to the new Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) – reducing the traveling time to the CIQ to only 10 minutes.

There are 3 variants of parks in the Setia Tropika township – town park, linear park and pocket parks. The biggest among the 3 is the 12-acre, award-winning town park. The town park provides a large playground for the younger ones, facilities for the elderly, picnic lawns, reflexology, basketball and football fields, multi-purpose court, gazebos and many more. 

The linear park, on the other hand, promotes active living by providing jogging and cycling tracks, educational gardens and more.

Pocket parks can be found in individual precincts in the township where you can find small playgrounds, jogging tracks and reflexology there. With these parks residing in the township, Setia Tropika is able to provide a fresher and healthier environment to its residents.

Businesses in Setia Tropika's CBD are already up and running. The construction of KDN (Kementerian Dalam Negeri) administrative centre will also complete in December 2010. The government office comprises 8 departments, including Immigration Department, National Registration Department, Registry of Societies Department, The People’s Volunteer Corps Department (RELA), Film Censorship Board Department, Civil Defense Department, Publication & Printing Control & Al-Quran Text Control Department and National Anti-Drug Agency Department. With the KDN, the residents of Setia Tropika and general public will soon be able to perform their administrative tasks with total convenience!

Located within Setia Tropika's CBD is the home for international and household brands such as Pizza Hut, KFC, Starbucks, Maybank and many more. The Maybank branch in the CBD introduced the first lifestyle banking by sharing its premise with Starbucks, allowing patrons to enjoy their favourite cup of coffee while performing their banking transactions.
