Setia Precast Sdn Bhd is a specialist contractor producing precast components for low-rise, medium-rise and high-rise prefabricated reinforced dwellings.
In contrast with the conventional construction methods, the walls, floors, roofs, stairs and balconies are produced in pre-cast concrete at the plant, and transported to the construction site to be erected onto floor slabs by crane. This method of construction shortens and stabilizes the construction period, requires less labour than conventional methods and reduces construction costs.

Upgrading of Perling Interchange, Pasir Gudang Highway, Johor
S P Setia’s Infrastructure Division has clinched a RM174 million contract to upgrade a 3.5km stretch on the Pasir Gudang Highway stretching from Perling Interchange to Skudai Interchange. The scope of works involves widening the two-lane highway to three lanes. Construction work started on 6 February 2006 for a contract period of 30 months.
Upgrading
of Batu Pahat-Ayer Hitam-Kluang Highway, Johor
S P Setia Berhad’s Infrastructure Division has successfully completed the upgrading and rehabilitation of the 47km highway between Batu Pahat-Ayer Hitam-Kluang. The Certificate of Practical Completion for the RM331 million project which commenced in February 2002, was obtained on 9 August 2004.

The Group is also keen to expand into the water and wastewater sector through the acquisition of 21.88% stake in Loh & Loh Corporation Bhd, a main board listed construction group with specialist expertise in the water and sewerage sectors. With several decades experience in civil engineering and construction activities, Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad has established a solid reputation as a niche market player in the water infrastructure sector.
