S P Setia Berhad is well-established in all the three key economic centers of Malaysia, namely Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang, with a growing presence in Vietnam. In mid-2007, S P Setia has joined forces with Vietnam’s top state-owned conglomerate, Becamex IDC Corp to develop its maiden EcoLakes project. The foray into Vietnam marks the first cross-border investment for S P Setia towards achieving accelerated growth to boost its international profile and enhance forward earnings. Currently, it has 11 active projects under development with another 10 new projects lined up for launching progressively in the near future.
S P Setia enjoys an established presence in the Klang Valley through its flagship projects, Setia Alam and Setia Eco Park located in Shah Alam. In Kuala Lumpur, S P Setia has three high-end projects including Duta Nusantara, Duta Tropika in Sri Hartamas and Setiahills in Ampang. In Johor Bahru, it has made its mark through signature developments such as Bukit Indah Johor in Bandar Nusajaya, Setia Indah in Tebrau, Setia Tropika in Kempas and the latest Setia Eco Gardens in Pulai. The Group has also made in-roads into Penang with the Setia Pearl Island project located at Bayan Lepas. In tandem with its expansion exercise, S P Setia is set to make its presence felt in East Malaysia having clinched a contract to build a state-of-the-art transportation hub in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and embark on its first project named Aeropod @T Tg Aru. Leveraging on the strong demand for commercial and investment grade properties, S P Setia has also expanded into the commercial sector with projects such as Setia Walk and Setia Nexus 1 in the Klang Valley and high-end condominiums the likes of Setia Sky Residences in prime city sites.
